The top border boasts, "Engraved for Millar's New Complete & Universal System of Geography: An Elegant Performance Including All the Modern Discoveries and Universally Acknowledged to be the Best Geographical Work Ever Published." Along th bottom, the full title reads, "A View of the Town and Island of St. Helena, in the Atlantic Ocean; Belonging to the English East India Company." It was published by Alex Van Hogg on May 31, 1872, as it reads in fine print below. It features a floral filigree engraved border all around the image that makes this print a true gorgeous treasure from the past.

The piece measures about 8.5 x 12.5 inches and is in VG condition. It has a slightly decaled edge with some minor folding at the bottom, and some discolorations due to age. It is unaltered and features no added color.
